What is “Positive Reinforcement” training?

The simplest way to explain it is that we reward good choices and teach alternative behaviors to replace poor choices. I know it sounds too simple to work, but I promise you it does. And yes, it is simple. That’s the beauty of it. It just takes patience, high value treats, and a little understanding of canine needs and body language.
